News From Craft & Hobby Association Summer Show

July 21, 2008

For those of you who don't know, the Craft & Hobby
Association (CHA) is a big convention for scrapbook
retailers to go check out what's coming out soon and a
place to try out all the new stuff and order all the new
stuff that we know you can't live without!

Those of you who use the Bind-It-All from Zutter, or are
considering getting one, here's the latest news:
-Zutter will be phasing out the current blue BIA binding
machine as supplies are used up. It will be replaced with
a silver & black machine that is "new & improved" that will
retail for around $75.00. I haven't heard what the
improvements are yet. The current machine sells for
$54.99, so if you haven't jumped on the bandwagon yet-now's
your chance before the price goes up for the new machine!
They are also raising the price on the current machine by
$5.00. I will continue to sell them at $54.99 until my
stock is depleted.

-O-wires will be getting a price increase. So far I have
heard that it will be around $2.00 on the six packs in the
biggest sizes

-If you've been thinking about getting one of their corner
rounders from another source (I don't carry it), you should
wait. The ones that are available now have some problems
that they are currently working on in production. Wait
until the next batch comes out!

-At last, some good news from Zutter! They are coming out
with new covers that are made of paper mache and I've heard
they look fantastic.

Some of the stuff I ordered at the Great American Scrapbook
Convention is a little slow getting here, but I'm doing my
best to get it on the site as it comes in.

I've found some new vendors that I think you will really
like. Be on the look out for products from a company
called "Kaiser". They are from Australia and their paper
lines and embellishments are great and have a great price
as well!

That's it for now, just wanted to send out a quick update!
